Description
Amazon EKS simplifies the process of running Kubernetes on AWS by eliminating the need for building, managing and maintaining your own Kubernetes control plane. In the course focused on Amazon EKS for Kubernetes container management and orchestration, you will gain valuable insights and skills.
Throughout the course, you will:
Create an Amazon EKS cluster and configure the necessary environment to support it
Deploy the cluster and learn how to incorporate applications into it
Gain knowledge on automating application deployment and leveraging the capabilities of Amazon Elastic Container Registry (ECR) for efficient container image management
Explore CI/CD techniques for application releases, enabling streamlined and automated deployment processes
In addition to container management, the course covers essential aspects of monitoring and scaling your environment. You will learn how to effectively utilise metrics, logging, tracing, and both horizontal and vertical scaling to monitor and scale your Kubernetes cluster. Emphasis will be placed on designing for efficiency, affordability, and resilience, empowering you to create and maintain a robust container ecosystem.
